Minted from nickel alloy, using special deep-relief coining dies, and hand-finished with an antique patina for exceptional quality and detail, this medallion is dedicated to the former and current Coast Guard and Civilian personnel who have proudly served this great school in its important role to train to protect this nation\'s freedom. The obverse, imbued with bold colored enamel, features the emblem of Port Operations School. The reverse displays the seal of USCG Training Center Yorktown.
